I had such an amazing experience at Railroad Aerial Arts, and a huge part of that is thanks to Ashley. From the moment we walked in, she created such a welcoming and supportive environment that made it easy to step outside of my comfort zone. I can’t wait to try more classes!

I had such a great time in the sling class! It was fun, engaging, and a really unique way to work out. Be prepared to use muscles you probably haven’t used in a while—it’s definitely a good challenge, but in the best way. The atmosphere was light and supportive, and there was plenty of laughter along the way. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to try something new and have a good time while getting a great workout

Absolutely love this place. This was my first time ever doing aerial yoga and it was amazing. We had the best instructor Christine she’s so sweet and took her time with us and she’s definitely a bubbly person and good at her job. Forward to coming back soon!

Frequently Asked Questions
-
For aerial classes - please wear tight pants (like leggings) and a form fitting shirt that covers your midsection. Even if it’s hot outside, you should still wear pants NOT shorts.
For pole classes - please wear a tank top and shorts, if it’s cold outside dress in layers and you can shed them as class goes on.
Hair should be tied up or back if possible.
Avoid zippers or jewelry that could tear the fabrics - if you do not remove your jewelry and it damages the fabric you will be charged a replacement fee ($100 for sling and $150 for silks).
No shoes on equipment. You can wear socks if you want, but silks and slings are more difficult with socks so we recommend being barefoot.
Loose clothing, jewelry, shoes, and other items could not only damage the equipment but also make it harder for you and increase the possibility of getting stuck.
-
We have a five-minute grace period. We ask that you do not come later than that as you will miss the warm-up and disrupt the class. If you're running late please give us a call to let the instructor know.
-
Please cancel your class through your momence account. If you cancel less than 12 hours before your class, you will lose your class credit. If you have extenuating circumstances, please still cancel through your account and contact us. If you are a no-show to a class you registered for, you forfeit your payment/credit.

We don't blame you! Trying something new (and especially something like this) is always scary. We want you to be comfortable at all times.
Everyone starts pretty close to the ground. You always have the option to go higher or lower if you’d like.
If you feel afraid, you can stop and try again later or leave it for another class.
Instructors will work with you and make sure you still get plenty of time on the equipment.
Our instructors know how to spot people of all body types.
All instructors have been (or are currently) trained for permission spotting. This means that all spotting and physical touch comes with communication and consent.

If you’ve been thinking about trying, you definitely should! It was such a fun class and the instructor was very welcoming, helpful, & hands-on! Definitely a judgement free zone! Loved it

As somebody who has absolutely no experience in aerial arts, they do such a good job making you feel really comfortable especially as someone who suffers from anxiety. They do a good job explaining it. I definitely want to get into it more once I get expenses figured out.
